Happy Birthday, La Calle Arepas Bar! Thank you for throwing a delicious, lively, and inspiring celebration!

One year ago, Javier Eastman acted on his dream, opening a cool and casual restaurant that serves the everyday food of his hometown, El Vigia, Venezuela. He wears his love for Venezuela on his sleeve, and translates it to the plate. La Calle uses only the most authentic ingredients: masarepa flour, plantains, and Venezuelan sodas, to name a few; and all dessert recipes come from Javier’s mother. The restaurant values family and treats customers like family.

We are so proud to have Javier as a GNHCC member, representing La Calle and his two other businesses, Avenida Venezuelan Food and Causality Tattoo Company.
