Get Your COVID-19 Vaccine TODAY!

Did you know that our Hispanic community has been one of the hardest hit by Covid?

We’re 1.7x more likely to catch Covid, 4x more likely to be hospitalized, and 2.8x more likely to die because of Covid. And that’s because a lot of our community works on the front lines, in service industries which means we’re exposed to a lot of people and therefore more vulnerable to catching the virus. 

If you haven’t gotten the vaccine, don’t worry, there are many options for you to schedule an appointment. You can book an appointment online with CVS, Walgreens, CT.gov or VAMS –  which is the CDC’s Vaccine Administration System. 

Getting the vaccine is free, you don’t need insurance and all you have to do is signup to get it – there will be no questions asked. 

So far, over 123M people in the US have received their first vaccine dose and that number keeps growing, but we’re already seeing our Hispanic community fall behind  – and given that we’re more exposed than others to catching Covid, the vaccine will help to keep us safe.

Si no te has vacunado, no te preocupes, hay muchas opciones para programar una cita. Puedes reservar una cita en línea con CVS, Walgreens, CT.gov, o VAMS, que es el Sistema de Administración de Vacunas de los CDC.

After you’ve been fully vaccinated, you should keep taking precautions—like wearing a mask, and keeping your distance from others since not everyone is vaccinated today.

The CDC has guidelines on what you can now do but also what you should still avoid after getting the shot.
